Operator10 Septic Hauling Setup: From Haulers to Discharge Accounts

Add discharge types, haulers, and pickup sites. Then log loads in minutes and run received and billing reports with confidence.

The Operator10 Septic Hauling Setup is straightforward. Set a few lists, then log events as they happen. The goal: keep intake moving and make reporting painless.

Step 1: Discharge types

Most plants see at least two categories—domestic and industrial. In setup, add the discharge types you need. If you want more detail (e.g., “portable restroom,” “septic tank cleanout”), add those too. You can also add on the fly while entering an event.

Step 2: Haulers

Create a hauler record for each company that delivers. Include a name and address. The address prints on billing reports, which saves time later. If a new hauler shows up at the gate, add it on the fly and keep moving.

Step 3: Discharge accounts

Haulers often want to identify the pickup location. In Operator10 septic hauling, that’s a discharge account (e.g., a park, a shop, or a facility). Build out frequent sites in advance, or add them during entry and reuse them next time. Having these on record makes filtering and billing context clearer.

Daily use

When a truck arrives, add a septic hauling event: set date/time, select the hauler, choose (or add) the discharge account, pick the discharge type, and enter driver, receiving operator, and gallons. If you routinely screen pH or conductivity, record the results. You can also attach additional measured parameters when needed.

Reports

Use the received report to list loads for a date range. For billing, create a billing report per hauler with your price-per-gallon. Export reports to PDF and email them to finance or the hauler.

Why this setup works

You capture the who, what, where, when, and how much with minimal friction. Operator10 septic hauling stays flexible—you can predefine values or add them as you go.
