Add parts with required fields, clone with Add Similar, rename across the database, and control delete/rename rights via security.
Antero add part

Add a new part

Click Add in the Parts grid. In Antero add part, choose a Tracking Type (Tracked, Untracked, or Tool). Enter a unique Name (required). Set a Warehouse and Area, then enter Quantity on Hand (required in this workflow). Optionally include Unit Cost, Stocking Unit, and min/max levels. Save to create the record.

Bulk and stocking options

If you buy by the case, enable Bulk Units and set Number per Bulk Unit; Antero uses that multiplier during ordering. Choose Stocking Units (each, set, pair) to match how you store the item.

Speed up with Add Similar

Select an existing part → Add SimilarAntero add part copies fields from the original; change the Name to a new unique value, confirm Warehouse/Area, Quantity, and any supplier fields, then save. Great for families like filters or belts.

Rename and delete (with care)

Use Rename Selected Part to correct a name; the change appears across the database. Use Delete only when certain—deletion removes the entry and associated data (you’ll get a warning). Admins can limit who may rename or delete via security settings, keeping Antero add part actions controlled.
