Operator10 charts

Why charts matter

Tables are great for entry. Trends need pictures. With Operator10 charts, you can turn any set of Location Parameters into a clear line or bar chart in minutes—no copying to spreadsheets.

Start from View → Charts

Click New. Use the search bar to narrow by name (e.g., “BOD,” “chromium,” “landfill”). Hold Ctrl (Command on Mac) to select multiple parameters. Set Display Type to daily, monthly, or yearly. Click OK to render the first pass.

Tune with Properties

Open Properties.

  • General: rename the chart and set the time frame (single day, 7 days, full month, or 12 months).
  • Series: rename each line to plain-language labels your team recognizes. You can add more LPs, switch a series to a bar, or remove it.
  • Appearance: pick a palette and background so the data is readable on screen and print.
  • Legend/Titles: control what shows, where it sits, and how big it is.

Make comparison clear

If you want context lines (e.g., average), add Calculated Constant Lines. Choose the series, pick the calculation type (average, min, max, or QC formulas), set color and thickness, and hide from the legend if it’s just a guide.

Keep it per-database

Saved Operator10 charts live with the database you’re using. If you manage multiple databases, save a version in each so teams open the right visuals by default.

Share the picture

Use Print or Export (PDF, image, HTML, Excel) to send a snapshot. If the request changes, reopen, adjust series or dates, and export again. No rebuilds.

Result

Simple setup, fast iteration, and clear trend lines your team can use in reviews, permits, or budget talks. Operator10 charts cut through noise and show what’s changing.
