Make lab work simpler
TSS entry doesn’t need a giant monthly grid. An Operator10 lab data entry view can mirror your bench sheet so staff enter results in the same order they run tests.
Build the TSS screen
Create a new Data View with only TSS locations—influent, primary, basins, effluent. In Properties → Display Range, set a 7-day Current Period, then choose Short Date with Day of Week so the column headers read Sun–Sat. Turn on Inverted Display to put dates across the top and parameters down the side. This layout makes Operator10 lab data entry quick—tap Enter to move down a column with one hand on the keyboard.
Label what people expect
Use Column Properties to add a Group Header like “Aeration Basins,” then rename columns to “Basin 1,” “Basin 2,” and so on. Remove calculated fields and summaries so the view only shows what the lab actually types. Drag rows so the order matches your physical workflow: influent, primary, basins, effluent.
Use it every day
Save the view and drop a shortcut on the desktop. When the tech clicks it, the screen opens to the current week. If they need to backfill last week, the period arrows are a click away. Operator10 lab data entry keeps work focused without changing any stored data.
Why this matters
Less scrolling and fewer clicks means fewer mistakes. A view that matches your routine helps new staff learn faster and keeps records consistent.
