How long have you worked at AllMax?
I have been working at AllMax for six years.
What do you love most about your job/working at AllMax?
What I love most about my job is the puzzle-solving and logical challenges it presents. However, what I love most about working at AllMax is the people. We are a small, close-knit team united by a common goal, which makes the experience incredibly rewarding.
What do you think sets AllMax apart in your field?
Without a doubt, our exceptional technical support team. We take pride in delivering first-class, personal customer service.
What have been some of the most important lessons you’ve learned throughout your career?
For me, it comes down to two key principles:
Never stop learning. This ongoing commitment to learning helps you stay dynamic in your role, allowing you to adapt to new challenges and fill a variety of needs within the organization.
Don’t take things personally. By maintaining a professional attitude and focusing on constructive outcomes, you can navigate conflicts and challenges more effectively, fostering a healthier work environment.
When did you first know you wanted to pursue a career in this field?
Although I’ve always had a lifelong interest in technology, I didn’t begin pursuing it until my mid-30s. At that time, I had been working in restaurants for nearly 20 years. Realizing I couldn’t do it forever, I decided it was time to change. That’s when I began teaching myself to program.
What do you think makes you unique as a team member?
I believe what makes me unique as a team member is my diverse background in other fields. My extensive experience in hospitality has equipped me with strong communication and organizational skills, significantly enhancing my development abilities.
What type of books/movies do you enjoy?
I am a big fan of fantasy and sci-fi. The Wheel of Time is my favorite book series of all time. And Foundation is the best TV show right now.
What has been your most meaningful accomplishment so far?
I believe it was teaching myself to program. I am completely self-taught, and while it was a grueling process, I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
