Taylor is crucial in keeping our team on track and performing at their best. In a new position at AllMax, she constantly evolves and recognizes areas in which our team can work easier, faster, and smarter.
How long have you worked at AllMax?
I have been part of the AllMax team since August 2023
What do you love most about your job/working at AllMax?
The AllMax team is so helpful and fun. The team has great comradery, and there isn’t a day that goes by without a good laugh.
What do you think sets AllMax apart in your field?
Because AllMax is a small company, the team has to work uniquely. Each team member has a crucial role in the success of the company. We care about each other, and we care about being the best we can be for our customers. One of my biggest pet peeves is not getting a hold of a real person when I need help from a company or business. When AllMax customers call for support, they don’t have to wait or navigate a frustrating phone directory. Instead, they can get help directly from one of our support team members.
What have been some of the most important lessons you have learned throughout your career?
No matter what task or responsibility you are given, regardless of its viewed importance, do your best. Sometimes it goes unseen or isn’t appreciated. Still, it promotes personal and professional growth and over time, makes a significant difference for any company or organization you happen to work for.
How has your role evolved since you joined the team?
My role as Business Operations & Finance Manager is a new position at AllMax, so it has been an evolving role since day one. My main job is keeping the team organized and efficient, knowing all the details of what is happening throughout the company, and being a resource to all team members. Because I oversee the Finance department, Human Resources, and Operations, it has been a steep learning curve. Still, I have enjoyed learning how AllMax functions and thinking of ways to streamline each process. I have especially enjoyed learning the financial side- I love spreadsheets and numbers!
What do you think is your biggest contribution to the AllMax team?
I am Type-A, organized, and task-oriented. I enjoy it when team members send me projects that could be more organized or tasks they need help with. Making others’ jobs easy while keeping things running smoothly is my goal.
How do you see yourself developing in your role?
I look forward to learning all the ins and outs of AllMax Software. As I learn, I look forward to helping improve our process. I want to continue to be a resource for our team and customers. As part of our Management Team, I want to help grow our company and bring more motivated team players to our AllMax team.
Tell us a bit about your family.
My husband and I live in Turner, Oregon, and have been married for a year. We are expecting our first baby in May and are SO excited.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy working out, watching a good TV show, or taking a long nap. Most of our family and friends live close, so we enjoy spending time with them as much as possible.
What is something surprising that few people know about you?
I play piano and sing at public events often.
What movie genres interest you the most?
I enjoy historical dramas as long as they are well-made!
What is a cause that you are passionate about?
I taught high school social studies for seven years before working at AllMax. My husband and I volunteer at the high school group at our church – we love getting to encourage and be safe adults for students at such an important time in their lives.
What is your favorite food?
Pizza, tacos, or breakfast foods are my favorites, especially when I don’t have to cook them myself!
